Family Links - Parent Group Leader Training In THE NURTURING PROGRAMME

If you work with parents and are thinking of running groups to support parents, Family Links offers a
4-day training in the use of the Nurturing Programme for Parents.

The training reflects the Four Constructs on which the Nurturing Programme is based: appropriate
expectations, self-awareness and self-esteem, positive discipline and – the cornerstone of the
Programme – empathy.

Training dates:  Dates: 3rd/4th/10th/11th March 2010    3rd/4th/10th/11th November 2010

 Youth, Culture and Mission lectures - are designed for people who have studied youth
ministry and theology and want to continue to think a bit more deeply on the subject. This year the
subject is gender, with input from Elaine Storkey on theology, Kristin Aune on recent research into
gender, Lois Gallagher on working with girls and a male youth worker on working with boys. You can
