The system enables us not only to show the words of hymns and worship songs but opens up a number of other possibilities as well.
For instance:
· words of prayers or readings can be displayed together with any responses in appropriate type to make it easier for the congregation to participate in worship.
· we can show clips from DVDs or complete DVDs as necessary.
· down load video clips from the net (You Tube).
· graphic art clips can be used to illustrate points in a sermon or order of worship.
· we have recently used clips from the TV news to inform our prayers of intercession.
· we can project photographs or newspaper headlines
Obviously, preparing material using the system takes time and if you wish to use the projectors during a service then we would appreciate early notification and any material you have to be sent to us at least a few days before the appropriate Sunday (contact: Jean Barley).
It may be possible that we can source items if you do not have the facilities or resources available and we are slowly building up a bank of ideas/pictures/DVDs which we can share with others.

We would also add that we have access to a wide range of hymns and songs, both old and modern, through our various collected resources and can normally satisfy any request for a particular piece of music/song you wish to include. We are willing to learn specific items, on request, and even have a small singing group who can lead the congregation in unfamiliar items. Again arranging this takes time and preparation and we would be pleased to have adequate notice of your requirements.
Finally, we would ask that you have regard for the young members of JJ s who may be present in the first part of worship and ensure the language and structure of the prayers and any opening readings are appropriate. We understand that some preachers may find this difficult and we are willing to take responsibility for this section of worship if necessary.
